The World Medical Forum is the largest event of its kind in Europe and is known as Medica Trade Fair. Every year it takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany, this time between 18th and 21st November. The Prodromus Ltd company from Cracow will take part in this trade fair to present the medicine of tomorrow to a group of specialists, doctors and business people.
Until now Prodromus was known for its automated gait trainer Prodrobot dedicated for children. This fall, it will present the premiere of a new product in the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy. ProdElvis is an Electronic Visualization System and can be additional software for the already known Prodrobot, but also for walkers, exoskeletons of other manufacturers and similar devices.
The biofeedback system is intended to visualize the pressure forces of the feet on the ground and their distribution during the patient’s rehabilitation session. This will allow the therapist to assess the symmetry of the movements, their repetition and correctness, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the therapy. The software enables collecting and saving in the results database, i.e. creating a rehabilitation history in graphic form. Recorded measurements presented in an accessible way can be analyzed and compared over time. The program allows live observation and viewing of recorded exercises.
The program is adapted to work on Windows and Linux operating system, currently it exists in Polish and English version. The ProdElvis set is software and a set of inserts with sensors collecting data.
The latest Prodromus product is now available for sale. The company invites you to stand A21 in hall 16 during the Medica 2019 event. The Prodrobot and ProdElvis families will be waiting for testing by anyone interested.
